Omma — visual overview

Omma in context: product setup, workflows, and operations

Omma is the Spline team’s answer to the question: “What if an AI builder actually cared about motion and 3D?” It launched publicly on March 24, 2026, and it’s the only tool in this space where interactive 3D, real motion design, and production-ready web output sit inside the same prompt-driven workflow. If you’ve ever looked at the output of Lovable or Bolt and thought “this looks like every other AI-built site,” Omma is the tool that breaks that pattern.

What it actually does

You type a prompt. Omma dispatches parallel agents — one for code, one for image generation, one for 3D model generation — and returns an interactive web experience. Not a static screenshot. Not a mockup. A working, published-ready scene with motion, materials, and a real 3D canvas that responds to cursor movement.

The output ships across web, mobile, and XR. That last one matters more than it sounds: if you’re building a product that wants to live on the Vision Pro or a WebXR surface later, Omma is one of the only AI builders that doesn’t paint you into a flat-HTML corner.

Who it’s built by

Spline has been the default tool for interactive 3D in the browser for years — the same way Figma became the default for 2D UI. Omma is their attempt to take everything they know about making 3D performant and accessible on the web and wrap it in a prompt interface. The technical foundation is real. This is not a weekend-built AI wrapper.

Pricing, honestly

The Free plan gives you 50 credits a month indefinitely and includes code generation. That’s enough to try it and see if it clicks. What it doesn’t include is the thing you probably came for: 3D model generation and custom domains. Those are Pro ($29/mo, 2,000 credits) and Max ($39/mo, 7,000 credits) features. You can top up credits on demand if you burn through them.

One credit does not equal one prompt. Heavy 3D generation burns credits faster than code-only edits. Plan for the Pro plan if you’re serious, and keep the Max plan in mind if you’re iterating daily on a launch.

Where it fits in your stack

Omma is not a Lovable or Bolt replacement. It won’t build you a full-stack SaaS with auth, a database, and billing. What it will do is build you a landing page, a product demo, an interactive marketing site, or a game-like microsite that feels genuinely different from the beige wash of AI-generated websites.

The sweet spot is the moment just before launch, when your SaaS is built but your landing page is embarrassing. Ship the Lovable app at app.yourdomain.com; build the marketing site at yourdomain.com in Omma. Your conversion rate will thank you.

What it isn’t good at

Text-heavy content sites. Anything resembling a traditional blog or documentation site is overkill in Omma — use Astro or a simple no-code site. Any app where users log in and save state lives somewhere else. And if you don’t have any feel for visual design at all, Omma will not rescue you — the prompts need enough specificity to produce something coherent, and a founder without design taste will get design-taste-shaped output.

The honest take

This is the most interesting new entry in the builder category in months precisely because it isn’t trying to do everything. It picks one thing — interactive 3D web experiences — and does it better than anyone else who is prompt-first. For founders with a product that benefits from looking striking on day one (developer tools, creative software, physical products, games), Omma is worth the subscription. For everyone else, it’s a bookmark.
